Gay Wightman School of Ballet offers dance lessons to children starting from preschool age on a term by term basis.
Our annual curriculum includes a number of exciting performances and events. We encourage students to stay consistent with their training so they can build their skills and form strong relationships with their teachers and classmates.

Once you click on the Join Us button, you will be redirected to an application form where you can apply for one of our Dance programs. Once submitted [NAME], our Lead Instructor, will be in touch to finalise your membership, which can be paid via credit card, cash or direct bank transfer. Membership will automatically renew each term. We request two weeks’ notice for cancellations.
If you move away from the area and our studio can no longer reasonably be accessed by you, we will refund the remainder of your term fees. Please note that a cancellation fee of $X will apply.
Unfortunately term fees are non-refundable in the case of injury. We welcome injured students to watch class so they can continue to learn.
We have a no-hassle cancellation policy. Simply complete the member cancellation form on our website to request your membership be cancelled for the upcoming school term. No further payments will be taken. Please allow 14 days for your cancellation to be processed.
We do not offer drop-in classes for school-aged students. Adults can come to drop-in classes for a cost of $XX.
As a member of our studio, you are eligible for a discount at the local Dancewear store [NAME].
Membership fees cover the cost of studio and dressing room use, and regular classes. We may request extra payments to cover the cost of transport to and from competitions or performances, costumes or makeup.
Yes you are welcome to trail a class before booking into the full term.
You can wear anything that you already have that is easy to move in for your first trail class, no need to buy anything for the trail. We have all uniform items in our office once you enroll for the term.
No the exams and concerts are not compulsory, although they are the most exciting part of the year for most of our dancers and highly anticipated by both students and parents.
No parents do not have to stay and there are several coffee shops that you are welcome to relax and enjoy a break. Parents are welcome to wait in one of our dressing rooms if they prefer to stay in the building.
All uniform items and merchandise are stocked in our on site dance wear shop.
