Huge congratulations to student Imogen Browne on being accepted into the Joffrey Ballet School New York for 2012. Imogen has been a Gay Wightman students for the past 15 years so we are extremely proud of her success.

Imogen Browne accepted to the Joffrey Ballet School, New York
The Gay Wightman School of Ballet in North Balwyn is thrilled to announce that 17year student Imogen Browne of Balwyn has been accepted into the highly prestigious International Joffrey Ballet School in New York for 2012. Imogen is an Advanced ballet student who has trained at the Gay Wightman School of Ballet for the past 13 years. Imogen is currently completing her VCE Year 12 at Ryton Girls School and will leave for New York after completing her final exams.
Heading to the USA
The Gay Wightman School of Ballet along with “Dance Around the World” will be taking over 80 people (including 35 student dancers from 7 years to 21 years) to the USA for the performance and study trip of a lifetime. Students will be performing in Hollywood Blvd, Disneyland, California Adventure Park, Universal Studios as well as participating in the spectacular Disneyland Parade. The students will also be participating in classes at the LA Edge, taking workshops at Disneyland and participating in a Gala Concert.
